Ugh. I'm trying to finish my Silverswap fic and I am so blocked. Usually Silver pair come really easily to me and it's a fabulous prompt but I think real life stuff is stressing me out and getting in the way D: D: D:

I have a bunch of drabbles that I've written that I'm sort of saving to make a thing for Shishido's birthday but for some reason writing now just isn't working out for me.

Maybe I'll have a bit of a silver pair fic reading fest tomorrow and see if that helps.

OH INTERNET. WHY HAS INSPIRATION DESERTED ME?

Why yes I do have a mahoosive heap of Silver Pair drabbles to post, on my external HD that is elsewhere, and no time to do it in. orz

I'm thinking my next night in a hotel (in what, a week?) I will have to stay in and post a ton of them to here, just so they are *somewhere*. I'm really proud of some of them too, wibble.

1. I have two small boys, aged 3.5 and 8 months. They are brilliant - completely hilarious, especially together.

3. I joined a gym today. This is very unlike me.

5. I'm doing project 365 on my iPhone this year and I'm obsessed by camera apps.
6. I turn 30 this year but that isn't stopping me having a bouncy castle for my birthday party :)
7. This evening I went to the pub for a couple of vodka and tonics, and now I'm eating lamb casserole. Yummy. :)

I am very excited because I have booked my first trip to Japan. My brother and I are going to do a 14 day tour next May, including 5 days in Tokyo. Very.Very.Very.Excited.

The only downside is I'll miss my kids terribly but hey, they'll thank me when I come back with a life supply of Pocky, cuddly toys and manga, right?

I'm still plugging away learning the language so it'll be nice to put it to some use.

I just watched the first anime episode. I know. I know. So Very Last To.

I loves it already. It is full of the lulz. Tomorrow I shall watch much much much more of it. This is why I send my children to nursery, right, to watch anime?

So, my ChristmasCacti fic exchangee writes awesome fics that regularly bring me much joy. So, I want my fic for said exchangee to be good, yes?

And yet I read it back and think

Does this happen to anyone else? I mean, I know I'm a good writer (not brilliant, mind, but you know 'good enough') so i think I'm probably being overly harsh but still
